HONESTY AND INTEGRITY
We spoke with Salt & Pepper very early on in our son's journey into therapy. We had some concerns around his behaviour and he wasn't talking at 18 months after a googling frenzy we were introduced to one of the therapists at Salt & Pepper through a friend, just at the right time. The therapist was really honest and acknowledged our concerns they helped to refer our son and gave us lots of advice on where to start whilst we waited. We had a few 'sprinkle' sessions and moved onto therapy with Collette before starting therapy in the NHS.
ADVICE AND REASSURANCE
Salt & Pepper really helped my daughter and our whole family. We weren't sure whether we were worrying for no reason or whether she may need further support. All of our questions were answered and gave us some really helpful advice for extending our daughters language skills. The 'Season' service gave us an extra check in which we used to share recommendations with our daughter's nursery. We also had an assessment and nursery visit with sessions for her and she loves her sessions! She's saying so much more which has really helped her confidence!
KNOWLEDGE AND SUPPORT
Salt & Pepper were just outstanding when I emailed for some advice and help with my 3 year old with his speech.
My little one was struggling with pronouncing some of his sounds and I was concerned it had now become a fixed habit.
From the start Salt & Pepper were so empathetic and helpful and knew exactly how I could support my little one in a fun way (as he is a super active boy!).
I was directed to both NHS and private therapy options for therapy but Salt & Pepper efficiently provided me with learning resources to aid in my child’s speech improvement in the meantime and were always available to discuss any concerns/questions.
My little boy was already making improvements just weeks after implementing the recommendations and a few months later he is managing to pronounce his words perfectly so we no longer need our referral. Collette was absolutely brilliant and I could not recommend them more! 10/10
